How to Install
(Case 1_To convert to
profile automatically upon printing.) |

| Please ensure the following applications are
installed to your PC. |
- Adobe Photoshop
- QSS Printer Driver

Remarks:
The description in this page
assumes that Adobe Photoshop CS2 is used.
Depending
on the version of the Photoshop to be used, location of
the available options and the display contents may vary. |

| General procedure: |
| Please follow the procedure below to make prints
using the profile you have downloaded. |
- STEP 1. Install the
profile.
- STEP 2. Start Photoshop and
open the image you intend to print.
- STEP 3. Make output
settings.
- STEP 4. Print.

| Detailed procedure: |
| STEP 1.
Install the profile. |
On Explorer, right-click on the profile you
have downloaded.
Choose "Install Profile"
shown on top of the screen.
Now the profile has
been installed.
or,
Store the file you have
downloaded to the following folder:
Windows98 :
C/Windows/System/color
Windows2000/XP :
C/WindowsNT(Windows)/System32/spool/drivers/color

| STEP 2. Start
Photoshop and open the image you intend to
print. |
Start Photoshop and open the image you intend
to print.
NOTE: For how to start Photoshop and
to open the image data, refer to the Photoshop
manual. |

| STEP 3. Make
output settings. |
Choose "File" - "Print with
Preview" so the following screen will be provided.
Press "More Option" to show the detail.
|
Choose "Color management" in "More
Option",
and choose "Let Photoshop Determine
Colors" in "Options" - "Color Handling".
Then
choose the profile you have installed in step 1
above in "Options" - "Printer Profile".
For
other settings, make necessary settings to get the
optimum image accordingly.

Then press "Page Setup".
|
Press "Printer" in the Page Setup
screen.
Choose the name of the printer that
you want to use for printing, and press
"Properties".

In the "Color" tab - "Color
adjustment" field, choose "No correction"'.
Save the settings you have
made, by pressing "OK" in each screen, and go back
to the "Print with Preview" screen. |

| STEP 4.
Print. |
Press "Print".
Prints to which the profile
you have downloaded is applied will be output.
