Movie film?
The 8mm movies reels come in 50ft, 200ft
and 400 feet. The 50 feet reel will
play for 3.15 Minutes.
How many CD/DVD’s
will it take to hold my photos?
“As many as it takes.” But, that is
not theanswer you want, is it? So let’s
look at the details, first the easy
part: A slide show formatted to view
on your TV DVD player will hold approximately
300 photos with a view time of 7.5 seconds
per photo. Now things get a lot more
complicated.
The quantity of photos that a CD or
DVD will hold depends on size and composition
of the photos and the scan resolution
used. How do I know which video code
(MPEG2 vs MPEG4) to select? If you wish
to view your video primarily on a TV
screen via a DVD player, then select
an MPEG2 DVD.
If you wish to primarily view your video
on a computer select MPEG4. If you are
not sure and would like to view your
video on both TV and Computer, your
best choice would be MPEG2 DVD. An alternative
to this would be to have a master copy
in each code, MPEG2 and MPEG4. |
